I just wanted to send a quick thank you e-mail to you and your staff. I recently visited your store on 14th street to purchase a new pair of running shoes.
I'm not an avid runner, but probably log about 1-2 miles a day. I'd been experiencing extreme discomfort in my feet for quite some time and have never been able to find a pair of sneakers that eliminated this problem.
A co-worker recommended your store so I figured I'd check it out. I was sick of the "fast food" style of shoe purchasing that has been my norm for many many years.
I was immediately greeted by a friendly & knowledgeable staff member (Christine?). The best part, though, was that I didn't feel like a "commission."
The worst part about ANY consumer experience is being hounded by an overly anxious salesperson who is clearly more interested in getting you in and out than they are in making sure you leave with the product that is best for you.
To make a long story short, I had a great experience. The video analysis of my feet helped pinpoint a major support problem. After trying on two pairs of shoes, I instantly noticed a difference and experience no discomfort. In only 20 minutes, I had an informative discussion with a knowledgeable salesperson, pinpointed my needs via video analysis, and made an educated purchase.
I sent out a mass e-mail to all of my friends and co-workers who run and have expressed similar dissatisfaction with their current shoe purchasing process and I highly recommended your store. I will continue to do so. Thank you.
